The debut CD album of Vittorio Prato is dedicated to the art of the great baritone of the past – Antonio Tamburini. This exquisite selection of rare belcanto arias from the operas of the beginning of the XIX century is presented in an elegant edition with booklet notes written by Giancarlo Landini.
Rare belcanto arias for baritone of Mercadante, Coccia, Generali, Donizetti, Balducci, Marliani, Bellini and Balfe constitute a precious collection that will delight the true connoisseurs of opera.
Orchestra “Virtuosi Brunensis” and “Camerata Bach Choir” are conducted by the belcanto specialist José Miguel Pérez-Sierra. The album is recorded in collaboration with SWR radio and captures the vibrant emotions of a live concert.

"It was with great pleasure that I met the Missoni family at "Japan Orfeo", a combination of music by the great Monteverdi and art and traditions from Japan. This production marked my debut in Asia in a leading role, wearing the marvellous Missoni costumes which contributed to the enormous success of this immensely significant event" - stated Vittorio Prato recently.
Missoni's creativity, an indisputable milestone in the realm of luxury knitwear, never ceases to enchant Vittorio. His luggage always contains some of those iconic Missoni Uomo garments which are a perfect representation of naturally sophisticated Italian style, making him one of the brand's highly esteemed ambassadors.
